    In Fort Winfield Scott and having served as seacoast defenses of the Bay Area, buildings (1201, 1208, 1216 - 1218) marked the introduction of the SpanishColonial Revival style of architecture to the Presidio. Today, Building 1201 underwent a complete rehabilitation including the restoration of the entire historic space, seismic upgrades and accessibility improvements for people with disabilities.
